Peugeot 4007 Key Battery Low
Summary of the thread
A 'key battery low' warning on a 2012 Peugeot 4007 is causing issues with keyless access and locking functions. The likely cause is a depleted key fob battery. Replacing the battery may temporarily resolve the issue, but if problems persist, a visit to a workshop for further diagnostics and potential reprogramming of the key settings might be necessary.

So, just replacing the battery did the trick for you? Was it easy to do? And did you have to reprogram the key or anything?

Yeah, battery replacement solved it for me temporarily, but the problem came back after a while so I had to go to the workshop to check auto key settings.

Thanks for the info! I'll try a new battery first. I will go to the workshop for auto key settings if the problem persists. Eventually it only cost 37€. Appreciate the help!

I had something similar happen with my Peugeot 4007. Keyless entry started acting up, then stopped altogether. Have you tried swapping the battery in the key?
