Peugeot 4007 keyless access failure
Summary of the thread
The keyless access on a 2011 Peugeot 4007 diesel was not functioning, with an error indicating a potential issue. The problem was suspected to be a bad cable or plug, specifically in the wiring loom connecting to the door handle. A suggestion was made to check the wiring loom for chafing, particularly the plug connection to the door actuator. The issue was resolved by a local shop, confirming a defective connection, and was repaired for 95€.

Could you say more about which wiring loom I should check?

Yeah, it was the wiring loom that connects to the door handle. Specifically, the plug connection to the door actuator. If you're not comfortable doing it yourself, a workshop could diagnose it fast. It was an easy fix for me, but I wanted a professional to do it.

Thanks! I took it to a local shop as you suggested. It was a defective connection. Cost 95€ to repair. Thanks again!

I had something similar with my 4007. Keyless entry died and threw an error. It's probably a wiring fault in the door. Like a Christmas tree light string, one bad bulb kills the whole thing. Have you checked the wiring loom where it enters the door? They can get chafed.
