Peugeot 4008 Central Locking Failure
Summary of the thread
The central locking system on a 2013 Peugeot 4008 diesel is failing, with the remote unable to lock or unlock the vehicle and an error stored in the system. Diagnostics suggest a bad cable or plug connection as the cause. A similar issue on a Peugeot 3008 was resolved by checking the fuse box and door lock mechanisms, with a recommendation to consult a workshop. Ultimately, the problem was identified as a defective connector, which was repaired for 95€.

Thanks. Which specific fuse should I check first? And did your 3008 store the same error in the system memory?

Not sure on the exact fuse number, check the car's manual. Yes, mine also showed an error. I just took it to a workshop, probably best to do the same.

Thanks for the advice. It was a defective connector, like I thought. Repair cost 95€.

I had something similar on my Peugeot 3008. Check the fuse box first, could be a blown fuse. Then check the door lock mechanisms, might be a faulty actuator. Does the keyless entry still work?
