Yeah, I scanned it, that's how I know there's a fault code stored. But the code itself is kinda vague. What exactly was the error code you got on your 4008?

While I do not recall the exact alphanumeric sequence of the diagnostic code, I can confirm that the technician at the workshop indicated it was most likely due to the third-party chip tuning interfering with the engine control unit. Given that your symptoms and vehicle model align with my prior experience, I would strongly suggest consulting with a reputable automotive workshop equipped with advanced car diagnostic capabilities.

Cheers for the advice! Took it to a shop, and you were spot on. The aftermarket chip tuning was messing things up. Cost me 180€ to get it sorted. Lesson learned!

I drive a Peugeot 4008 as well, and I encountered a similar problem not too long ago. My scan tool revealed a diagnostic code indicating an issue with the car computer. It also impacted the engine power. Have you scanned the car for any diagnostic codes? That would be the first step.
