Peugeot 4008 low heating output
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Peugeot 4008 diesel is experiencing low heating output, with an error indicating a potential fault in the water valve. The issue might stem from a defective water valve or faulty cable and plug connections. It is suggested to have the vehicle professionally inspected and possibly replace the water valve, as similar cases have been resolved by addressing the valve itself.

Yes, the error message indicates a fault with the water valve. My mechanic mentioned that a defective cable or plug connection could be the cause. Did you also check this on your car, or what was the problem?

I did check the connections, but in my case, the valve itself was faulty. Considering the age and mileage, it's probably best to have it professionally inspected and replaced if necessary. The repair cost me around 95€.

Thanks for the info! It's helpful to know someone else had the same problem. I'll take it to the workshop to have the water valve replaced.

Hello, I have a 4008 as well, and I had similar symptoms last winter. The low heat and error code definitely sound like a water valve issue. Did the error message point specifically to the valve?
