Thanks! When you say 'antenna connection,' do you mean the wire that plugs into the back of the radio unit? And by going to the workshop, do you mean a Peugeot dealership specifically, or would any reputable car mechanic be able to diagnose and fix such a problem?

Yep, that's the one! The wire that plugs into the back of the radio. It's worth a check to see if it's loose first, but honestly, in my experience with electrical gremlins, it's best to go to a workshop. You can start with any reputable car mechanic, but if they are having a hard time, then I'd suggest going to the dealership. I ended up having to replace the whole antenna in the end. It's better to let the experts handle it.

Based on your recommendation, I booked an appointment with a trusted local mechanic. They ran a thorough diagnostic and confirmed that the antenna was indeed defective, just as the error message initially suggested. The repair, including parts and labor, came out to be about 255€. While the radio reception signal issue and audio system were temporarily out of commission, I'm glad to have it resolved. Thank you again for your help!

Oh wow, that sounds familiar! I have a 4008 too. The radio would just cut out, and sometimes I'd get a really annoying static noise. Did they check the antenna connection itself? Maybe it's just loose or corroded. If it is the antenna, I would also suggest to go to the workshop. Good Luck!
