Peugeot 4008 System Readiness Error
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Peugeot 4008 diesel displayed a 'system readiness check incomplete' error after an OBD2 diagnostics read. This issue may be due to an incomplete drive cycle, which is necessary for emissions monitors to report 'ready.' A professional system readiness reset and vehicle inspection were suggested. After following this advice, no faults were found, and the error resolved itself with normal driving.

Thanks. I haven't done a vehicle inspection yet. What exactly do you mean by 'drive cycle not being fully completed'? Is there anything I can do myself?

The drive cycle involves specific driving conditions the car needs to experience for all the emissions monitors to run and report 'ready'. However, given that it occurred directly after an OBD2 readout, I would recommend taking the car to a trusted workshop for a professional system readiness reset and thorough vehicle inspection.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to the workshop, they performed a system readiness reset and ran a diagnostic, but they found no faults. They recommended that I continue driving as normal. The light eventually turned off by itself. Repair cost: 0€!

I had a similar issue on my Peugeot 4008 after diagnostics. It could be related to the drive cycle not being fully completed. This is necessary for the emissions test. Have you had a vehicle inspection since the error appeared?
