I have a 2002 Peugeot 406 with a gasoline engine. I'm experiencing a faulty clutch pedal switch, indicated by an error stored in the memory. This is causing the gear selection display in the speedometer to malfunction, the cruise control to be inoperative, and sometimes the engine won't start. Mileage is at 277580 km. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection to the component. Has anyone encountered this before?
