Peugeot 406 Engine Won't Start

I'm having a strange issue with my 2002 Peugeot 406 gasoline. It has done 245787 km. I'm getting an error stored, and the engine won't start. I've checked a few things and suspect it could be an interrupted terminal 15 ignition positive. My initial thoughts are that it’s likely a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I had a similar issue with my Peugeot 406. Is the battery terminal properly connected? I had a voltage drop issue that caused similar symptoms. Power supply was the culprit. Get it checked!

Thanks for the quick response! Could you elaborate a bit more on the power supply issue? Which component was defective, and what tests did you perform to isolate the problem?

Turns out, it was a corroded connector in the ignition switch circuit. I didn't catch it myself; I took it to a workshop. Considering the symptoms, I would suggest you do the same.

Thanks for the advice! I had the car diagnosed, and indeed, the cable connection was defective, just as suspected. Repair cost 95€. Everything is working fine now.
