Thanks for the insight! The symptoms sound similar. I'll double-check the wiring. Did you manage to fix your Renault yourself, or did you have to take it to a mechanic?

No worries! I tried fiddling with it myself at first, but honestly, I wasn't confident enough to mess with the electronics. Ended up taking it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. The fault code pointed to the rain sensor, so they replaced the faulty wiring in that area. Although, with your Peugeot and its range of symptoms, it might be best to get a professional diagnosis too. The problem's likely related to the sensor cable or plug connection. My invoice listed around 95€ for the repair. The cost was worth it.

Thanks for the info, sounds like the same problem. I'll have it checked out at a workshop.

Hey, that sounds familiar. I had a comparable issue with my old Renault Megane, though it was the rain sensor giving me grief. The symptoms were slightly different (windshield wipers going haywire at random), but it also messed with the climate control. Have you checked the sensor's wiring harness and connections for any signs of corrosion or damage?
