Peugeot 406 Fuel Flap Problem

Hi, my 2002 Peugeot 406 diesel has a fuel flap issue. The release button doesn't work and throws an error, so I can't lock or unlock the flap. Mileage is 134303 km. Some other functions are unavailable since the error appeared. Has anyone else seen this?

Hey! I had a similar problem with my 406. Is it completely dead, or does it sometimes work? Did you check the fuse?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, it's completely dead, never works at all. Where exactly is the fuse for the fuel flap? The manual wasn't clear.

Okay, mine was intermittent at first, then totally died. I never found the fuse location, to be honest. In the end, I just took it to a workshop. They sorted it for me.

Cheers. The workshop diagnosed a defective lock actuator and charged 210€ for parts and labour. Just wanted to let you know in case anyone else has this issue. Thanks for your help.
