Peugeot 407 Headlight Range Control Issue
Summary of the thread
The headlight range control issue on a 2008 Peugeot 407 involves an error and warning light, with low beams being improperly adjusted. The problem might be due to a defective servomotor in the headlight. A suggested solution is to have the vehicle inspected and repaired by professionals, as it may be beyond typical DIY capabilities.

No flickering, it just suddenly started. Could you tell me more about your issue? Did the beam adjustment change randomly, and did you fix it yourself?

Yes, the beam adjustment was erratic, pretty much like you described it. I took it to a workshop because I suspected a defective servomotor in the headlight, and I'm no expert on electrics. It was the best decision. If it is the servomotor, it might be best to leave it to the professionals.

Thanks a lot! I think I'll do the same and bring it to a workshop. It's probably beyond my skill level. I got an estimate of 1040€, but at least it will be fixed properly.

I own a Peugeot 407 too, and I had a similar problem a while back. The light intensity was all over the place. Did you notice any flickering before this started?
