Peugeot 407 Washer System Failure
Summary of the thread
The headlight and windshield washers on a 2007 Peugeot 407 stopped working, prompting concerns about a potential pump or relay cable issue. Initial suggestions included checking the fuses, but it was advised to first verify if the pump was receiving power. A workshop later confirmed the problem was due to a defective pump and a faulty cable connection.

Which specific fuses should I check? Where can I find a fuse layout for the washer systems?

Alright, alright, hold your horses! Instead of chasing fuses, I bet it's the pump itself. They can conk out. Check if the pump is getting power when you try to use the washers. If not, THEN chase fuses and relays. Honestly, unless you're comfy with a multimeter, a shop might be quicker. Just sayin'.

I took it to a workshop. They confirmed a defective pump and a faulty cable connection. Repair quoted at 165€. Thanks for the guidance.

Whoa, that's a weird one! Headlight washers and the windshield squirters both dead? Sounds electrical alright. Did you check the fuses before tearing into wiring? Simple stuff first!
