Peugeot 5008 Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Failure

My Peugeot 5008 (2013, gasoline engine) is showing a brake booster pressure sensor failure. Mileage is at 30377 km. Getting an error message on the speedometer and the braking effect is poor. Error is also stored in the error memory. Suspect it might be due to incorrect brake bleeding.

I have a similar Peugeot 5008 and had similar symptoms. Did you check the brake fluid level? Also, have you used diagnostic tools to read the error code?

Brake fluid level is fine. Yes, I used diagnostic tools; it points directly to the brake booster pressure sensor. Wondering if you had the same error code and if so, what was the eventual cause?

Yes, same error code. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop, as it might be related to the hydraulic brakes. It could be a vehicle safety issue.

Thanks. It was indeed the brake booster pressure sensor. Replacement cost 90€. Turns out the brake system was bled incorrectly. Appreciate the help.
