Peugeot 5008 error memory uneven idle
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Peugeot 5008 diesel with high mileage is experiencing an 'Error stored in the error memory' message and uneven engine idling. The suspected cause is a faulty engine mount, possibly due to a defective cable or plug connection. A similar issue was resolved by addressing the engine mount connection, and it is advised to have the vehicle checked by a workshop to confirm and fix the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! It's just the generic error message, nothing specific unfortunately. Did you ever pinpoint what the exact issue was with yours? Was it actually the engine mount connection, or something else entirely?

Yeah, for me it ended up being exactly that - the engine mount. The connection was faulty like you suspected. Honestly, I'd get it checked by a workshop. It's a pain to diagnose yourself, and if it is the mount, you really don't want to risk driving it too much longer.

Thanks! Appreciate the advice. I'll book it in with a workshop to get it sorted. Knowing someone else had the exact same issue with their 5008 makes me feel a lot better about the diagnosis, I was fearing something way more complicated.

Hey! I had a similar issue with my Peugeot 5008 (don't remember the exact year, but it's a diesel too). Those symptoms sound super familiar. Was it throwing any specific codes, or just the generic 'Error stored in the error memory' message?
