Thanks for the quick reply! The error message isn't very specific, just mentions the siren communication fault. Where exactly should I be looking for these cable connections and plugs? Is it a difficult area to access?

Right, sounds familiar. Honestly, digging around in the alarm system without proper diagnostics can be a headache. While you could try tracing the wires, my experience says a workshop visit is best. They can pinpoint the issue properly. In my case, the broken cable or plug connection was the culprit, and the repair ended up costing around 95€. Is it worth risking messing something else up for that?

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate you confirming it sounds like the same problem. I'll take it to the workshop and hopefully, it's just a simple connection issue. Good to know what to expect price-wise too. Cheers!

I had something similar on my 5008! Alarm just died. Did the error message point to anything specific, or just the generic 'communication fault'? It's worth checking the connections first, as you say.
