Peugeot 508 hybrid battery issue
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Peugeot 508 hybrid is experiencing issues with a heavily discharged battery, weak and flickering lights, and error messages on the speedometer. The problem may be linked to a defective battery sensor, which can cause these symptoms. Checking battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections is advised, but ultimately, taking the car to a workshop for diagnosis and repair is recommended. Replacing the faulty sensor resolved the issue, restoring the vehicle's performance.

Random errors, yes, exactly! I did check the terminals, they seem fine. So, the sensor was the culprit in your case? What did you do to fix it?

Yep, the sensor was the issue. I tried a few things myself, but in the end, I had to take it to a workshop. Saved myself a lot of headache in the long run. They diagnosed it pretty quickly.

Thanks, that's helpful. I'll take it to a workshop then. It turns out the battery sensor was indeed defective. Cost me 315€ to get it sorted, but at least it's running smoothly again.

Sounds familiar. I've got a 508 as well and had similar symptoms. Was it also throwing up random errors? Did you check the battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections?
