Peugeot 508 steering column adjustment issue

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2011 Peugeot 508 diesel. The electric steering column adjustment isn't working anymore! I get an error stored in the error memory, and the steering column just won't adjust electrically. Anyone else experienced this? I read somewhere it could be a faulty cable or plug connection. Any ideas before I take it to a workshop?

I also drive a 508 and had a similar problem a while back. Does it feel like there is no power at all to the adjustment, or does it try to move and then stop?

Thanks for the quick response! It's completely dead, like there's no power going to it at all. No noise, no movement, nothing. Was yours the same?

Yes, that was exactly the same issue I had. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to get it checked, especially since you have an error code. For me, they found a defective connection. At least you already suspect this cause and hopefully the repair is as cheap as it was in my case.
