Peugeot 607 engine stalling rough idle

Hi. I have a 2006 Peugeot 607 diesel with about 68k kilometers. Lately, the check engine light comes on intermittently, and sometimes the engine stalls when idling. I've also noticed a lack of power. I suspect a fuel issue, maybe a bad sensor? Anyone else experience similar issues?

I had something similar with my 607. Rough idling, engine misfire. Was yours doing that?

Yeah, the idling is definitely rough sometimes. Did the check engine light come on for you too? What was the problem?

Yep, check engine light was on constantly. Honestly, I took mine to the workshop. Turned out to be something with the high pressure pump. They replaced the fuel volume regulator as well, if I remember correctly. Best get it checked.

Thanks for the info! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on. It was the fuel volume regulator. High pressure pump was defective too. Cost me 1510€, but at least it's fixed. Appreciate the help!
