Peugeot 607 OBD2 Error

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2010 Peugeot 607 diesel. The system readiness check is incomplete, and an error is stored in the error memory. An error message is also displayed. This occurred after the vehicle was recently read via OBD2. I suspect it's related to the onboard diagnostics. The car has 79928 km on the clock. Any insights?

I know that feel! Had something similar with my 607. Feels like chasing your tail, right? Was it after some sort of vehicle inspection? Did you try to clear the code yourself?

Indeed, a frustrating experience! Yes, the error arose after a recent vehicle inspection. I have not attempted to clear the code myself, as I wanted to gather more information beforehand. Could you elaborate on your similar experience? Was the root cause identified?

Yep, sounds exactly like what happened to me after I plugged in a cheap OBD2 reader. I never got to the bottom of it myself. Just took it to the shop and they sorted it quick.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate the insight. As it turns out, the system readiness monitors reset during the OBD2 diagnostic process, which is perfectly normal. The system requires a specific drive cycle to reset everything. After completing the cycle, the system was fully ready and the errors disappeared. The workshop confirmed this, and there were no repair costs involved. Again, thanks!
