Peugeot 607 parking aid fault

Hi, I've got a 2010 Peugeot 607 with a gasoline engine and I'm experiencing a parking aid fault. The system is completely non-functional, and the error memory confirms a fault. I'm leaning towards a defective cable or plug connection, but I'm not sure where to start looking. Has anyone else had this issue?

I had a similar issue with my 607. Check the ultrasonic sensors first. Are you sure the control module is ok?

How did you check the sensors? And where is the control module located?

I didn't check myself; I took it to a workshop. They said they checked the sensors with some kind of diagnostic tool. I'm not sure about the module location, to be honest.

Okay, thanks for the insight! I'll probably bring it in to a shop then. Turns out the cable to one of the sensors was corroded, new cable and plug later, all good. Repair cost was 95€.
