Peugeot 806 brake pedal feedback

Strange brake pedal feedback on my 2001 Peugeot 806, gasoline engine, with 218915 km. Could it be undervoltage messing with the ABS?

I had a similar issue with my 806. Does the pedal feedback happen more when the engine is cold, or consistently? Have you checked the hydraulic brakes?

It's pretty consistent, warm or cold. I haven't checked the hydraulic brake system yet. What did you find with your 806? Was it voltage-related, and did it affect all the brakes?

In my case, it was a combination of things, with the undervoltage making the squeaky brakes worse. The pedal feel was definitely wonky. Unless you're comfortable messing with brake pads, rotors and the ABS, get it to a trusted mechanic. Safety first.

Safety first, you're right. Took it to my local workshop. You were spot on! Worn brake pads and a minor electrical fault. Cost me about 240€ to sort it. Thanks a million!
