Peugeot 806 Speedometer Error Oil Pressure Light

Hi, I've got a 2000 Peugeot 806 with a diesel engine. The speedometer keeps showing an error message, and there's a warning light on. Also, the oil pressure light flickers. The error memory mentions something about a faulty oil level sensor signal. I checked the basics, but I'm not sure what to do next.

I had a similar problem with my 806. The error message and oil pressure light are annoying, aren't they? Is there any oil on the dipstick?

Yes, the oil level on the dipstick seems fine. Is the oil level sensor issue easy to spot?

If the dipstick shows a normal level, then the sensor is likely the culprit. Checking the sensor and its wiring for obvious damage might help, but I'd suggest getting it checked in a workshop to be certain. An interrupted signal is likely the cause. Repair shouldn't be expensive. For me the diagnostic, repair and parts came to 95€

Thanks, I'll check the wiring again, but it sounds like a trip to the workshop is inevitable. I appreciate the advice!
