Peugeot 807 Central Locking and Engine Start Issue

I'm getting a bumper antenna error on my 2010 Peugeot 807 diesel. Central locking is malfunctioning and the engine needs the key in the ignition to start. I suspect a defective cable or plug. Anyone seen this?

I had a similar issue with my 807. Sounds identical. Did you check the radio signal strength? Are you experiencing signal interference?

I considered the radio signal strength. The radio reception seems normal, but could a weak signal affect the central locking and engine start? What was the root cause in your case?

It was the antenna connection. I suggest a workshop check the system professionally.

Workshop confirmed a defective antenna cable. Replaced the cable and connector, resolving the errors, central locking, and engine start issue. Repair cost was 95€.
