Peugeot 807 Clutch Pedal Switch Problems

I'm having a frustrating issue with my 2004 Peugeot 807 (gasoline engine, 133331 km on the clock). I suspect a bad clutch pedal switch. I'm getting an error stored in the memory, the gear selection isn't displaying on the speedometer, the cruise control is dead, and sometimes the engine won't even start. Could this be a faulty switch or a bad cable connection? My hunch is electrical, given all the symptoms.

I had similar issues with my 807. If the error code is pointing to the clutch switch, definitely start there. Before replacing anything, check the wiring and the plug connection to the switch itself. Yes, the engine starting issue was intermittent but definitely present. I don't recall the exact error code unfortunately. To be safe, I would take it to a workshop. They quoted me 95€ for checking the cables and the plug.
