Peugeot 807 cooling grille restricted error
Summary of the thread
A Peugeot 807 is experiencing a 'cooling grille restricted' error, with incorrect temperature readings and a prolonged engine warm-up time. The issue is not due to radiator blockages, and the coolant level is normal. A possible cause could be a faulty sensor or grille motor, as suggested by a similar past experience. It is recommended to have the vehicle inspected by a professional to prevent further complications.

Thanks! The engine doesn't seem to be overheating, but it's struggling to reach temperature, so I think the display is wrong. Coolant level looks normal. What was the cause when you had this?

Right, coolant level normal sounds like my problem. I never figured it out, but the mechanic thought it might be a sensor or something with the grille motor. The ECU showed errors. I'd get it checked at a workshop before it gets worse.

Thanks for the advice! I'll book an inspection. Seems like the cooling grille was the issue. Repair cost 52€. I appreciate the help!

Strange! I had a similar issue with my 807... I didn't see any blockages either. Is your engine overheating, or is it just taking a long time to warm up? Did you check the coolant level?
