Peugeot 807 Engine Issues

My 2010 Peugeot 807 diesel's check engine light keeps popping on, and the engine's running rough. Sometimes it stalls when idling, and there's horrible jerking when accelerating. I'm thinking it might be the fuel pressure sensor. Anyone else had similar issues? I've got 211266 km on the clock. Fuel economy's gone to pot too. Could a faulty sensor mess with the fuel injector timing?

Blimey, that sounds familiar! I've got a Peugeot 807 myself, although a slightly older model. Had almost the exact same symptoms a while back - check engine light, rough idle, the works. I'm no mechanic, but is the fuel pressure sensor difficult to get to?

Cheers for the reply! I've been reading up on it, and it seems like it's not too bad to get to, thankfully. But before I start fiddling, could you tell me if those were definitely your symptoms too? What exactly did you do to fix it?

Yep, those were definitely my symptoms. To be honest, I'm not mechanically minded, so I just took it straight to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Okay, cheers for the advice. I'll get it booked in at the local garage then. It WAS the fuel pressure sensor, like I suspected. Cost me 95€ all in. Running smooth as butter now!
