Peugeot 807 Mixture Preparation Error
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Peugeot 807 is experiencing a mixture preparation error, leading to rough engine performance, reduced power, and stalling. The issue may be linked to a faulty injector, as indicated by a rich fuel smell. A workshop diagnosis confirmed the defective injector, and after replacement, the car's performance returned to normal.

You know, I think I did notice a slightly richer smell than usual. What was the problem with yours? Was it hard to diagnose?

Yeah, the rich fuel smell was the giveaway for me. Turned out to be a faulty injector causing the mixture to be way off. Honestly, I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. It's tricky to diagnose without the right equipment.

Thanks a lot for the insight! I took your advice and brought it to a local shop. They confirmed it was a defective injector. Repair cost me 515€, but the car is running perfectly now.

Hey there! I had a similar issue with my 807 a while back. Those symptoms sound really familiar. Did you happen to notice if the exhaust smelled particularly rich, almost like fuel? I'm wondering if it's the same problem I had.
