Peugeot 807 parking aid fault

My 2006 Peugeot 807 diesel, with only 15k km, has a parking aid fault. The parking assistant is non-functional, and the error's logged. Anyone else experienced this? Suspecting faulty wiring or a dodgy plug connection. Where should I start?

Hey! I had a similar issue with my 807. Was the error intermittent, or did it appear suddenly? Did you check the proximity, blind spot or radar sensors, or even the rearview camera?

Good shout! It came on suddenly, no warning. Sensors visually look fine... Did you ever find out if it was the sensors themselves?

In my case, it wasn't the sensors, however after an inspection, the mechanics found a defective cable. I'd advise going to a workshop to check the wiring.

Cheers for the advice. Just got it back from the shop; it WAS a dodgy cable connection. 95€ later, all sorted!
