Cheers for the quick reply! I haven't checked the battery voltage directly, just relied on the dash warning. Serpentine belt looks okay, no obvious fraying or anything. But could a voltage drop really cause all these issues? I'm no expert but I'm getting a bad feeling about the generator...

Yeah, a voltage drop can cause all sorts of weird electrical gremlins in these vans. Trust me, I chased a similar problem for weeks! If your OBD's throwing a generator code and you're seeing those symptoms, it's highly likely that's your culprit. Given the mileage, it might just be wear and tear. Honestly, save yourself the headache and get it checked out by a workshop. They can properly diagnose the generator and rule out anything else.

You were spot on! Took it to the shop, and it was indeed the generator. The repair cost me 960€ but at least it's running smoothly again. Thanks a bunch for the help and peace of mind!

Hey there! I've got an 807 too, and your symptoms sound eerily familiar to what I experienced a while back. Reduced power and flickering lights were the big tip-offs for me as well. Did you check your battery voltage? Also, have you noticed any unusual noises coming from the serpentine belt area? A loose or worn belt can sometimes cause alternator issues too. Definitely check the simple things first!
