Peugeot Expert power window failure

I had a similar issue with my Peugeot Expert, though not the exact same year. Check the wiring loom where it passes from the body into the door. They can sometimes suffer from fatigue and break, causing intermittent or complete failure of the window control. Might be worth a look before you dive into replacing the switch. Also, check the window track to ensure there's no unusual resistance.

Interesting, that's a good shout. I hadn't considered the loom. Was your error code the same as mine, or something different? Did you notice any other electrical gremlins before the windows packed in?

My error code was indeed window-related. Now that I'm thinking about it, I recall the central locking behaving strangely for a short period before the windows gave up entirely. Given the age of your Expert, it's probably best to have it checked at a reliable workshop.

I checked the loom as you suggested, but no dice. Ended up biting the bullet and taking it to the shop. Turns out it was the switch, as suspected. New switch fitted, error cleared, and windows are working again. Cost me 200€ all in. Appreciate the advice!
