Peugeot Expert preheating fault

Hey, I'm kinda freaking out! I've got a 2023 Peugeot Expert, diesel engine, and suddenly things are going bonkers. The preheating lamp won't turn off, which is weird enough, but then the check engine light decided to join the party. And to top it all off, now it's puffing out smoke like a chimney when I try to accelerate. I've checked a few things but I am no expert, do you guys have any idea what I can do?

Took your advice and brought it to the shop. Turns out it was, like you said, a dodgy connection to the preheating control unit. They fixed the cable, and everything's running smoothly again. Cost me 95€, but hey, no more smoke! Thanks a bunch for pointing me in the right direction!
