Peugeot iOn High Voltage Error
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Peugeot iOn was experiencing a high-voltage system error, causing the engine to shut off unexpectedly and reducing power. The issue was suspected to be related to the battery. A similar case suggested checking for a parasitic drain affecting the 12V battery, which can trigger high-voltage errors. The problem was resolved by replacing the defective battery, costing 290€ for diagnosis and repair.

Thanks for the quick reply. How did you identify the parasitic drain, and what component was causing it in your case? I'd like to give the workshop some pointers.

I did not identify the parasitic drain myself. The workshop diagnosed it. They told me it was causing the 12V battery to be constantly depleted, which then triggered all sorts of high-voltage errors due to undervoltage. I would definitely recommend taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed.

Thanks for the advice; it was indeed a defective battery. The repair including diagnosis and parts cost 290€. All sorted now!

I had a similar problem with my Peugeot iOn. Is the 12V battery ok? I had a parasitic drain issue that caused similar symptoms. It might be worthwhile to have that checked out before assuming the worst.
