Peugeot Traveller AdBlue Error

I'm gutted! My 2023 Peugeot Traveller diesel is throwing an AdBlue error. The dashboard is screaming, there's an error stored, and now it won't even start! Mileage is around 280,000 km. I suspect the AdBlue isn't getting from the tank to the dosing unit. Anyone else had this nightmare?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my 2018 Citroen C4 Picasso. Same symptoms: AdBlue warning, wouldn't start. Have you checked the AdBlue injector? On my Citroen it was clogged solid, preventing the DEF fluid from reaching the SCR catalyst. Was your error message about the injection system by any chance?

Injector, huh? I haven't checked that specifically. The error message was pretty generic, something about 'emissions control malfunction'. How difficult was it to access the injector on your Citroen? Was it something you could DIY, or did you need special tools?

Accessing it was a pain, to be honest. It's buried pretty deep, and you need some specific tools to disconnect the fuel lines without making a mess. Plus, even after cleaning the injector, the problem came back a few weeks later. In the end, I bit the bullet and took it to a workshop. They replaced the whole AdBlue tank assembly, and that sorted it.

Right, sounds like I'm heading down the same road. Workshop it is then! Thanks for the head-up. Just got a quote for around 250€, seems the Ad-Blue output from tank to dosing unit is defective.
