Peugeot Traveller fuel level sensor fault

Hey, I'm having a really annoying issue with my 2023 Peugeot Traveller diesel. The check engine light keeps popping on, and sometimes the engine just stalls when I'm idling! Super frustrating. I scanned it and it's throwing a fuel level sensor fault. I've checked all the obvious stuff, like making sure the fuel cap is on tight. Anyone else run into this?

Salutations. It appears you are experiencing a malfunction within your vehicle's fuel system, specifically related to the fuel level sensor. This is often triggered by electrical anomalies. Does this vehicle have a dedicated fuse for the fuel level sensor circuit? If so, it would be prudent to ascertain its operational status via visual inspection or multimeter. Discontinuities in the electrical circuit could indeed cause the described symptoms.

Thanks for the reply! I'm not sure if there's a dedicated fuse just for the fuel level sensor, I'll check the fuse box diagram. Where exactly would I find that, and is it easy to replace myself if that's the issue?

Concerning the location of the fuel level sensor fuse, kindly consult the vehicle's owner's manual for the fuse box diagram; it should delineate the placement of all fuses and their respective circuits. If you lack the necessary diagnostic tools and/or technical expertise, I strongly advise you to seek counsel from a certified automotive technician. A misdiagnosis or improper repair could lead to further complications and potentially invalidate any existing warranties.

You were spot on! Took it to my local mechanic, and it turned out to be a blown fuse, just like you suspected. 52€ later, and it's running perfectly again. Thanks for the help!
