Pilot electric steering column adjustment issue
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Honda Pilot owner is experiencing an issue with the electric steering column adjustment, which is not functioning and displays an error message. The fuses were checked and found to be fine. A potential cause suggested is loose or corroded cable and plug connections under the steering column. It is recommended to have a professional workshop inspect and fix the issue, as it may involve cramped spaces and technical expertise.

Where exactly are those connections located? I'm not very mechanically inclined, so any specific directions would be a huge help. Is it something easily visible, or do I need to remove any covers?

You'll need to get under the dash on the driver's side. It's a bit cramped. Honestly, if you're not comfortable poking around, it might be best to just take it to a workshop. I ended up doing that, and it was a quick fix.

I appreciate your insights! I think you are right; I'll take it to the workshop. The repair cost was about 95€. They said it was a defective cable or plug connection, just as you suspected. Thanks again for your help!

Sounds familiar. I've got a Pilot as well, and something similar happened to me. Have you checked the cable and plug connections under the steering column? Sometimes they can get loose or corroded.
