Pilot seat heater issue
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Honda Pilot has a seat heater issue where the driver's seat doesn't warm up, and an error code related to the heater is present. The problem is likely due to a faulty heating element or heating mat. Replacing the heating element involves removing the seat cover, which can be complex, so professional repair is recommended.

Just the driver's seat, yeah. Heating element... is that a pain to replace?

That's what mine was. If it's the heating mat like it was for me, then yeah, it involves removing the seat cover. I ended up taking it to a workshop; cost me about 390€. Unless you're really comfortable with upholstery work, I'd suggest getting a quote from a pro.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like a trip to the shop is in order. Appreciate the heads-up on the likely cost, too.

I had a similar issue with my Pilot. Do you notice it on both front seats or just one? Mine was only the driver's seat. Could be a faulty heating element.
