Platina washer fluid warning
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Nissan Platina displayed a 'washer fluid low' warning despite a full reservoir, leading to suspicion of a faulty sensor. However, the issue was identified as a seized washer fluid pump, which was causing the warning. The solution involved replacing the pump, resolving the problem efficiently.

Good shout! I hadn't considered the pump being the trigger. Where is the pump located and how difficult is it to get to? And which fuse exactly?

The pump is usually attached to the washer fluid reservoir itself, often at the bottom. Access can be a bit tight depending on your model, but nothing too crazy. Before you dive in, I'd suggest having a workshop take a quick look. They can diagnose it properly in minutes.

You were spot on! The pump was the culprit; it had seized. 25€ later and she's squirting like new! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I had something similar with my Platina. Check the pump itself; sometimes they get clogged or give out. The warning light comes on even if the pump is the culprit, not just low fluid. Did you check the fuses?
