Primastar Turbo Boost Sensor Issue

Hey, I'm having issues with my 2009 Nissan Primastar diesel (187938 km). Check engine light is on and it's jerking when accelerating. There's a whistling noise that turns into a hiss when I accelerate harder. It sometimes stalls when idling, and fuel consumption is up with less power. I think it might be the turbo boost pressure sensor, maybe a bad cable or plug. Anyone seen this before?

Sounds like the turbo boost sensor, like mine was. Check engine light, loss of power, weird noises... It's like a bad spark plug on an old petrol engine, throws everything off.

How did it happen for you? Did it come on slowly, or all at once? Did you fix it yourself, or take it to a shop? Just trying to figure out how big of a deal this is and what it might take to fix.

Mine came on pretty quick. I tried a few things, but I took it to a shop. They said it was the boost sensor and replaced it. Better to get it checked out properly, you don't want to risk damaging the turbo further.

Took the Primastar to a shop and they confirmed it was the turbo boost pressure sensor. Cable and plug were bad, like I thought. Cost 95€ to repair. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
