Prius windshield wipers not working

I'm experiencing a peculiar issue with my 2011 Toyota Prius hybrid. The windshield wipers have ceased functioning entirely. I ran a diagnostic, and an error related to the wiper system is stored in the error memory. Given the symptoms, I suspect a defective cable or plug connection somewhere in the wiper circuit. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

Sounds familiar! I had a similar wiper problem on my Prius a while back. Couldn't get them to budge at all. Have you checked the wiring harness around the wiper motor? That's where my issue was. Could save you a trip to the shop.

It was a while ago, but I'm pretty sure a connector had come loose near the motor. Wasn't getting power. Honestly, I wiggled a few things and it started working again. If you're not comfortable messing with it, a shop should be able to sort it out quickly.
