Problem with the headlight height adjustment and warning light in the BMW 2 Series Diesel (2015)
Hi, I have a strange problem with my BMW 2 series diesel (built in 2015). The headlight leveling system is acting up and a warning light in the speedometer comes on. I think it might have something to do with the headlight leveling, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any experience with this and can give me some tips? How was the problem solved in the workshop and what were your experiences? Thanks in advance!
The issue could be due to a faulty headlight adjustment motor, a problem with the wiring, or a malfunctioning control switch. Start by checking the headlight adjustment motor. If it's not working properly, it may need to be replaced. If the motor is fine, then check the wiring and the control switch. If you're not comfortable doing these checks yourself, I would recommend taking your car to a professional mechanic. Please keep us updated on your progress.
