Unstable engine problems on Audi RS6 C7 with Stage 2

Hello everyone, I own a 2013 Audi RS6 C7 with a gasoline engine and 160,000 km on the odometer. I've done a Stage 2 tune on the vehicle. I'm experiencing several problems when the fuel level is low (range between 80 km and 100 km): the engine misfires, the idle is unstable, and the engine may even stall. However, these problems disappear when I fill up and the range exceeds 120 km. The fault codes detected with ODIS indicate a too-rich fuel mixture on both banks (P017200 and P017500). I checked the low-pressure pump pressure (fuel pump), which drops from 580-600 to 200-250 when the problems occur. I've already replaced three ignition coils and changed the spark plugs, so I don't think the problem comes from there. I wonder if the original fuel pump is no longer sufficient due to the Stage 2 tune, or if it's simply failing. I would be grateful for your opinions or similar experiences before proceeding with a pump replacement. Thanks in advance for your help!

It sounds like your fuel pump might be struggling to maintain adequate pressure, especially with the Stage 2 tune demanding more fuel. Before replacing the pump, check the fuel filter for any blockages that could be restricting flow, especially when the tank is low. A clogged filter can cause pressure drops and lead to the symptoms you're experiencing. If the filter is clear, then the pump might indeed be the issue. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!
