Hey, thanks for the tip about the control unit. Yes, that could of course also be the case for me. I can't say exactly which car symbols are displayed as I'm not at the car at the moment. I haven't read out the fault memory yet. I should definitely do that to get a better idea of the problem. I had my last oil change at 174790 km. I haven't driven much since then. A new control unit would probably cost around €1000, wouldn't it?

Hey, yes, the control unit could be expensive. In my case, the €1000 included installation and everything. But it always depends on where you have it done. If you know someone who is familiar with it, you might be able to save some money. Reading out the fault memory would definitely be a good idea to make sure it's the control unit and not prepare yourself for the costs for nothing. However, I would actually rule out the oil change as having anything to do with the problem. In my case, the problem stopped immediately after changing the control unit. Ultimately, however, it's always best to go to the garage, as they know best. I'm sorry I can't help you any more!

Hey, thanks again for your tips. I'll take the car to the garage tomorrow and have the fault memory read out. The 1000€ for a new control unit is not cheap, but if it solves the problem, then it's worth it. Good to know that the oil change probably has nothing to do with it. It's always good to hear experiences like that. I hope that everything will work again on my Opel Adam once the control unit has been replaced. Well, we'll see. Thanks again for thinking along!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2015 Opel Corsa, but I'm not an expert either, more someone with a bit of experience. In my case, it was actually the control unit that was faulty. The visit to the workshop was actually okay, although it ended up costing €1000, which wasn't exactly cheap. But afterwards everything worked perfectly again. What are your exact car registration numbers? And have you ever read out the fault memory? That could help you understand the problem better.
