Problems starting a 2013 Ford Focus: weak battery and warning light

Hey guys, I have a problem with my 2013 Ford Focus, petrol, it won't start, the battery is low on start up, the lights are flickering or dimming and a warning light in the speedo is illuminated. I have a suspicion that there is a message fault. Has anyone had similar experiences or ideas on how to solve the problem? How did you get it sorted out in the workshop? I am grateful for any tips!

Hi, I have a Ford DYB Focus model year 2011. It starts sometimes and sometimes not. Error message says Engine fault service now. It has been submitted for troubleshooting at two workshops and no one has been able to find the fault. Sometimes the steering servo locks up. It releases quickly if you steer quickly right/left. Fault on the servo? The battery is fine, generator charges ok 14.8 v. rest current ok draws 3 millivolts. I have to disconnect the battery for a while and then the car starts. What could be wrong with my car ?

Start by checking the ground connections and battery terminals for corrosion or looseness, as poor connections can cause intermittent starting issues and affect the power steering system. If the connections are secure and clean, the issue might be related to the power steering control module or wiring. Given the complexity and safety implications, I recommend having a professional mechanic perform a detailed inspection. Let us know how it goes or if you have further questions.
