Problems with sat nav and sound system in the BMW 3 Series 2001: Possible antenna faults and workshop solutions

Audio system is not working

|

Navigationssystem is not working

Hello community, I have a problem with my BMW 3 Series, built in 2001, diesel. Recently, both the navigation system and the sound system have been acting up. I suspect that it could be the aerial. Has anyone ever had a similar problem and could tell me how it was fixed in the workshop? What experiences have you had? Thanks in advance for your tips and advice!

Connection head unit to DAB L-band antenna: Line interruption. How important is this and how do I fix the problem?

This error code indicates a problem with the connection between the head unit and the DAB L-band antenna. This could be due to a loose connection, a broken wire, or a faulty antenna. Start by checking the connection and the wiring. If everything looks fine, you might need to replace the antenna. However, if you're not comfortable doing this yourself, I'd recommend taking your car to a professional mechanic.

Hello, whenever I read out my BMW X3 G01, I get the error message B7F805, this is supposed to be critical or reaction required. But I don't notice any problems, what is this message supposed to say, everything runs normally (engine, radio, navigation system, etc.).

Even if you don't notice any immediate issues, the error code is indicating a potential problem. It's possible that the issue is intermittent or not severe enough to noticeably affect performance yet. However, it's always a good idea to address these issues early to prevent potential future problems. I'd recommend having a professional mechanic inspect the DAB antenna and its connections to ensure everything is functioning properly.

Hi, Since a few weeks ago I have been experiencing problems with my mid tone speakers, both doors as well as top front one. Suddenly they are not working anymore! At the rear everything is working fine. Carly scan shoe me this error message: B7F805 - This fault code is entered when an open circuit in the DAB L Band aerial line is detected. This check is carried out when the headunit is started and after certain diagnosis requests. Please help 🙂
