Problems with seat belt reminder and airbag warning light on BMW 3 Series

Guys, I have a question. My 2009 BMW 3 Series, petrol engine, has been acting up recently. Seatbelt reminder not working properly, airbag warning light flashing and errors stored. I think it could actually be the seatbelt reminder, but I'm no expert, so I'm asking you. Have any of you ever had a problem like this? How did you get it fixed? And what did the garage say about it? Hi buddy, I have a bit of experience with cars but am no expert. I had a similar problem with my 2007 BMW 5 series a few years ago. I had a faulty cable connection from the seatbelt reminder, which caused the seatbelt reminder to stop working properly and the airbag warning light to start flashing. I had it checked at my local garage and they solved the problem for me. It cost me 170 euros and I haven't had any problems since. Maybe it would be a good idea for you to do the same now to avoid further damage. Could you perhaps provide more details about your vehicle? Maybe then I can help you even better.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I thought it might be the seatbelt reminder. At my last inspection at 101478 km everything was still OK, but now this airbag warning light is getting on my nerves. With my old BMW, the garage even said that this can happen due to vibrations and normal wear and tear. So there's not necessarily much you can do about it. And as far as the airbag warning light is concerned, it can also come on if the cable connection to the airbag is interrupted. So I would definitely go to the garage and have it checked. Otherwise, in the worst case scenario, you run the risk of the airbag not deploying in an emergency. That's really no joke. Let us know later what the garage said!
