Hey, thanks for the tip! I'm not sure if a component of the alarm system is actually faulty, but it would be a possibility. As for the battery, I can say that it's actually still pretty new. There is no installation of a new radio or similar in my Audi. The mileage is 25020 km and it has just had its last service. Sometimes cars are just a mystery...

Hey, no problem, I'm happy to share my experience! If the battery is still new and you haven't changed anything else, it could really be the alarm system. I would recommend you take a look at the alarm system contacts. I once had a different problem where a loose contact was the cause. If that doesn't help either, a workshop would probably be unavoidable. There may also be other electrical components that are putting unnecessary strain on the battery.

Yes, that really could be the solution! I'll definitely check the contacts of the alarm system, maybe I'll find the culprit there. Thanks anyway for your advice and experience, it really helped me! Hopefully I'll be able to solve the problem soon. Thank you and best regards!

Hi, I recently had a similar problem with my 2017 Audi A8 diesel. I wouldn't call myself a car expert, but I have had a few experiences. My problem was that an adjacent component of the alarm system was faulty. They fixed it for me at my garage, which cost me 550 euros. Can you perhaps tell me a bit more about your car? For example, how old the battery is, or whether a new radio or similar has been fitted recently? That could help to narrow down the problem further.
