Problems with the audio system and sat nav in the Peugeot 308 model year 2021: experiences and solutions wanted

Hey guys, I'm having problems with my Peugeot 308 petrol model year 2021. Somehow I can't get any sound from the audio system and the navigation system no longer works either. I suspect that the fault lies with the audio system. Have any of you had similar problems and could tell me what was done in the workshop to fix it? Would be really grateful for any help and your experiences.

Summary of the thread

A 2021 Peugeot 308 owner is experiencing issues with the audio and navigation systems, suspecting the audio system as the root cause. A similar problem was encountered by another Peugeot 308 owner, who discovered a broken bass speaker that required replacement. The suggested solution is to visit a garage to diagnose and potentially replace faulty components, such as the speakers, to restore functionality.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Hey, so I had a similar problem with my 2019 Peugeot 308 diesel, so very comparable. I wouldn't exactly call myself a car expert, but I have some experience with cars and I've never had anything like this before. I then went to the garage and it turned out that the bass speaker was broken. They had to replace it and it cost me about 280 euros. Since then, everything has been working normally again. What exact details do you have about your car? Maybe then I could help you better. Hopefully this will help you in some way!

Hey, thanks for your reply! My mileage is 91693 km and the last service was recently. It's actually been running quite well so far. The bass speaker, hmm, I wouldn't have thought of that now. Maybe I should have it checked. Fortunately, the 280 euros are still within my budget. Basically, the car is great, as you can see, it's a 2021 model. I'll take your advice and visit the garage. Thanks again for your help!

No problem, I'm glad I could help! A vehicle with almost 100,000 km has of course already been through a lot. It may indeed be that the speakers have failed. I'm also encouraged by your positive words about the car. I love my Peugeot too and it was just bad luck that the speaker broke. I see you have a newer model, maybe they have improved the speakers. But as you know, a technical defect can always happen. I hope the workshop can find the fault quickly. Please let us know what it was as soon as you know more. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it won't be too expensive! And of course, always happy to help. Help where I can!

Hey, and thanks again for your feedback. It's always good to have someone with similar experiences. I think it's great that you're still talking so positively about your car despite the defect. That definitely gives me hope. I will definitely take your advice and visit the garage. Hopefully it's just a minor issue. When I know more, I'll definitely let you know. Thank you for keeping your fingers crossed for me! Your support really means a lot to me! See you next time and have a good trip with your Peugeot!
