Thanks for the reply! Yes, I ran a diagnostic and it points to a defective control unit affecting the speed signal. Is that what you experienced as well? Could you give me more details about the sensor?

Yep, sounds like the same thing. The control unit was the culprit in my case too. Unfortunately, it's not a simple fix; it's beyond swapping a sensor. Because the ABS relies on wheel speed sensors, they all feed back to the central control unit. So, I'd advise taking it to a workshop. Cost me around 1000€ to get it sorted, but it fixed the problem completely.

Okay, thanks for confirming. I appreciate the advice! I'll book it in with a workshop to get the control unit checked and replaced. Glad to know what to expect in terms of repair costs.

Hey, I had something similar happen in my Puma, though it was a while back. The ABS light and traction control going crazy. It might be related to a faulty transmission input speed sensor. Have you run any diagnostic tests to check for error codes? That would be the first step. By the way, ABS stands for Anti-lock Braking System.
