Puma engine stalling

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2019 Ford Puma hybrid. The check engine light keeps popping on, and the engine sometimes stalls when I'm idling. I scanned it, and it's throwing an error about incorrect fuel composition. Could a bad batch of petrol cause these problems? It's done 78341 km.

Summary of the thread

A 2019 Ford Puma hybrid experienced engine stalling and a check engine light due to an error indicating incorrect fuel composition. Possible causes included a bad batch of petrol or issues within the fuel system. A suggested solution was to inspect the fuel system for faulty connections, which led to discovering and replacing a defective cable, resolving the issue.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Interesting. I had a similar issue with my Puma, though it wasn't a hybrid. Have you checked the fuel system at all? Wondering if there's a dodgy connection somewhere.

Fuel system as in, like, visually inspected the lines and connections? What exactly should I be looking for, and did you have the same error code?

Yeah, basically a visual check. Turns out, in my case, it was a defective plug connection on some sensor. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. Cost me about 95€ to get sorted. Better safe than sorry, right?

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a local shop and you were spot on - they said it was a dodgy cable. Replaced it, error's gone, and she's running smooth. Appreciate the help!
